Quinta do Peru was the first golf course built in the Azeitão region between the castles of Sesimbra and Setubal, which is well known for its palaces, its wines and cheeses.|The course, with its many trees and wild flowers, offers a varied start.|The most difficult test on the course, hole 16, a Par 3 over 200 metres, where one needs to get over a lake to reach the green. After eighteen holes there is a number of golf-related activities available and also a clubhouse providing excellent views over the surrounding landscape, with the imposing and beautiful Arrabida mountain range in the background.

Nice course. Good club feel to it. Reasonably good condition.
User friendly but no cakewalk. Gradient on 18th green is questionable

A new course to us and we were pleasantly surprised. A nice friendly welcome both on and off the course, interesting course and some good food after our round. Being based in Cascais it was quite a long drive but worth the effort. Some very nice facilities. Would be happy to visit again.

The course was in very good condition and great value for money - especially compared to many other golf courses in Portugal. There was a lot of variety in the layout of the holes with water on a few holes making them a bit more challenging but also very pleasing on the eye. While the course was very playable off the tee - meaning tee shots had to be pretty wayward to result in a lost ball - the greens are small making approach shots quite challenging even for lower handicap players.
Overall, a super course and one which we will for sure play again when we return to the Setubal area.
