Camiral Stadium Course (ex PGA Catalunya)
Camiral - Stadium golf course is the most spectacular and imposing golf course not just in Girona, but it has been consistently ranked on the top ten golf courses in Europe since it was opened in 1999 and was recently voted #77 in the world, #3 in continental Europe and #1 in Spain. As been the venue for numerous PGA European Circuit tournaments, it is also routinely singled out for praise from every player who had the privilege to play this fantastic golf course.
Boasting many memorable holes on one golf course and despite the many ups and downs, tees are elevated and very few fairways are uphill. The stunning dogleg of hole 6 is one of them and it demands nothing less than a driver and total commitment.

This is a high quality set up, from arrival and welcome by the caddy master, to entering the sizeable and wonderfully stocked pro shop, then onto the terraced bar/restaurant, where the service is top class and so is the food. Then, the Stadium course. I'd booked this before the announcement on 2031, and its easy to see why the resort has been chosen, what a great 18 holes. Greens were a little woolly compared to the silky Tour course greens, but even so, a top 5 course out of over 250 played, so it's well worth a visit and/or stay. Dennis and Catherine's vision for Camiral is a joy to be part of. Thank you and good luck for the Ryder Cup. we'll be back ;-)

The staff were really helpful and went above and beyond. Sadly
my flight was delayed by 3 hours meaning I was going to cancel and move the round to another day however the course allowed me a much later tee time in order to play the same day.
Nightmare day, but ended with a really quick round at the Stadium course the day before the front 9 closed.
Set up and layout of the course was really good and will definitely return.

Class operation - wonderful course; maintained well, but unfortunately some players do not repair their damage both on greens and on fairways. Tuff greens and deep rough. Play forward tees to what you play normally.

I originally tried to walk the course, but took a cart on the back nine. Much more enjoyable without the workout. Course was in great shape and I will be back!

Great check in, great course. Rain meant we had to stick to buggy paths, which slowed play down. 50 Euros for a buggy seems a bit excessive if you can’t drive down the fairways.
